Company Watch named Credit Data & Analytics Provider of the Year at the Credit Awards 2026

We’re proud to share that Company Watch has been named Credit Data & Analytics Provider of the Year at the Credit Awards 2026, announced during Credit Week 2026 in Wales.

To say we’re delighted would be an understatement. We were up against some of the biggest and most established names in the industry, which makes this recognition mean even more. The shortlist was a strong one, so hearing Company Watch read out as the winner was a proud moment for everyone on the team, and one we’re still buzzing from.

A win built on Vigilance™

The award belongs to the whole team, but there’s one product at the heart of it: Vigilance™.

We built Vigilance™ to tackle a problem that traditional credit assessments often miss, which is fraud and risk hiding in plain sight. Instead of relying on backward-looking scores, Vigilance™ scans Companies House filings in real time and flags anomalies across five risk zones: Financial, Statistical, Behavioural, Operational and Rapid Succession. It works as an early warning system, surfacing the signals that matter and cutting through the noise, so fraud, credit and compliance teams can act before exposure turns into loss.

That proactive approach is what seemed to resonate at Credit Week. Over three days at Stand 25, we challenged delegates to pinpoint the UK postcode with the highest concentration of Vigilance™ fraud flags, using real intelligence from the platform. The guesses and debates that followed were some of our favourite moments of the event, and a good reminder of how much appetite there is for smarter, alternative data in risk decisions.

More importantly, this win matters to us for a simple reason. Fraud costs UK businesses tens of billions of pounds every year, and fraudsters tend to stay a step ahead of the methods built to catch them. Closing that gap takes a different way of looking at company risk, not just a tweak to the old one. Being recognised for that work, against this kind of competition, means a great deal.
