The Company Watch system provides a comprehensive range of key indicators, financial statements and supporting information, including:
• H-Score ® - the ranking of the financial strength of any company compared with all other companies in the same country group on a scale of 0 (worst) to 100 (best). Companies with an H-Score of 25 or less are in the Warning Area and have characteristics similar to companies that previously failed. Historically 1 in 4 such companies has experienced distress within 3 years of being in the Warning Area.
• Risk Rating - a relative scale of financial risk places a company into one of ten risk categories with 1 the strongest. Each successive number is twice as weak as the number before it. For example a company with a risk rating of 6 is twice as risky as a company on a risk rating of 5. This scale is often considered to be suitable for credit grading purposes.
• PoD ® (Probability of Distress) percentage - the percentage likelihood of a company experiencing distress
