The Company Watch system includes a powerful modelling facility that provides the ability to alter the financial data or add new data which allows you to:
Perform
“what if” analysis experiments
eg “What if the
company made a loss?”
“What
if they had another year like the last one?”
“What
if they refinanced their short term debt to long?”
“What
if they reduced stock levels?”
Perform
stress tests
eg “How much would
the profits have to increase to get the company out of danger?”
“How
much would the profits need to decline before the company experienced financial
difficulties?”
“How
much new long term funding does the company need?”
“What
combination of changes to profits and the balance sheet would get this company
out of trouble?”
Evaluate the effect on the company’s financial health of future periods’ management accounts, brokers’ forecasts or long term plans.
This includes changing data in existing accounting periods or adding new periods and amending the data to determine the effect on the company's H-Score.
All changes
will be reflected throughout the system, adjusting the charts and supporting
data. Experiments can also be stored for future use.
